Privacy Notice

1. What this Privacy Notice covers
This Privacy Notice aims to give you information about the personal data we may collect and process in relation to:

2. How we capture data
Vortex takes steps to ensure that the collection of personal data is minimised and personal data is not stored nor processed as part of the services it provides to its clients.
The VTX City product provides continuous mapping of transport and urban infrastructure. By nature of its purpose, the unit contains a HD camera pointed directly at the road surface and kerbside, and not towards buildings.
To achieve this purpose the HD camera may incidentally capture images of pedestrians or vehicles. This footage is fully redacted before it is transferred and stored on to our secure network.
If you have any individual privacy concerns please contact the Data Protection Officer, details of how to do this are in Section 4.
